One of our guys , Rick (Re8elmonk) had some hellacious noises coming from his Taco so he took my advice & went to my friends shop in La Mesa for some repairs & this is one problem they found & I know alot of us here have their own "favorite mechanic" & this one is mine , EXPRESS AUTO SERVICE in La Mesa, I've known this guy since 3rd grade & you cannot find a more knowledgeable, fair & most importantly.... Honest Mechanic any where else in town. I didn't start this thread to pimp his shop, I don't need to, this guy's business is about 80% -85% referral based. & he's also an offroader too, so if anyone has any mech. issues with their truck & don't know where to go or who to trust then I would encourage you to take it to Dave's shop (Express auto service) for a diagnostic & estimate , good people, great service & I endorse them 110%. Plus if it isn;t to his satisfaction your truck doesn't leave the shop... simple as that, just ask Rick......:D:cool:

P.S. I think he gave Rick a $100 breaK on the bill also (TW discount perhaps? )

Good to know there are still honest places out there. Thanks Doug. Glad Rick got that fixed, it sounded terrible.

I'm about the change my front bearings tomorrow (friday).

I have been hearing some groaning noises and feeling a vibration in the floor and pedals. Also when I put the truck on jack stands the wheels dont turn very easily.

I will post pics with what I find.
