    i started the deckplate mod and the 6'' inch dose not fit in the V6 or 3.4L i hade to trim a shit ton .what do i do about the wires attached to the top of the air box

    I hate to say it but 6 inch is too big...wait.....wait....and ....That's What She Said!!. Seriously, a 4 inch deck plate is all that I found would fit on my air box.

    I used a black deck plate (4 inch) I bought from west marine. Some sensor safe rtv stainless screws and nylock nuts to secure it to said airbox.

    just pop that clip that holds that harness to the tube and you should be good there. I think you might need to pull out the MAF and disconnect it from the tube iirc also.
