    My first noob question: I purchased the SR5 really wanting the TRD however budget would not allow. I would like to eventually make this into a Franken-TRD minus the 4x4. Is this a lost cause or will the ''aftermarket'' parts slowly caress my needs?

    Secondly, YES you can definitely build your truck to surpass TRD models. Funny you mention budget...as this forum tends to lighten wallets..just from personal experience and what others have said. But to each his own...either way this forum has lots of experience and information for you!
