    Hi All -

I just wanted to say that I really love this forum, I have found so much helpful information in a few weeks! So for all of you THANK YOU!

I am a new Tacoma owner, I have wanted one of these for quite a few years and finally broke down and bought one. Its been a bit of a down grade for me but I really love the Tacoma... I've owned a FX35 and G37 as my last two vehicles so I'm missing a few things...

So I just wanted to share with everyone a few things I've done to her so far -

Picked up 2010 Speedway Blue Access Cab SR5 + TRD Sport on Friday the 24th of September...

Saturday I installed a Pioneer AVIC-X920BT and PAC SWI-PS ended up using the Scosche kit (installing the face kit was the hardest part).

The following Wednesday I added the bed mat and trailer hitch cover...

    More to come...

I want to do HIDs + TRD Exhaust + Bed Cover (not sure which one yet though)

    Robert

    Thanks Alex...

So far I've done the Seat Belt Chime MOD... Awesome!!! I was going to beat the dash if it beeped at me anymore!

I haven't had this much fun modding since my 2001 Maxima!

Yes she is! I actually got her used with 2500 miles... The person who owned it before did a few mods...

    Removed the Mud Flaps
Debadged the TRD Sport Stickers (kind of liked them)
Chrome Door Handles and Tailgate Handle Covers
Chrome Door Guards (they are going)
Some Level Thing - I guess to let you know if your truck is level (I removed this asap)

I removed the rear seat headrests as I thought they were ugly!

Welcome Robert. I am also new to this forum, but not new to Tacoma's...

I understand what you mean by missing items from your Infinity. My wife has always driven Audi's. However, the longer you have your Tacoma and the more miles you put on it, you will realize that your Tacoma is no downgrade..

Cost of ownership can be very low on these trucks and they hold their value extremely well (unlike luxury cars). Good luck with your purchase!

I miss the G (I've actually had 3 of them... 06, 08, and 08) but I'm a little over them, drove my buddies today though for old time sake...

Thought about the super charger... but I made a mistake... When I took it to the dealer they did the gas pedal recall and I didn't realize that takes away the super charger option... :(

Unless you buy the APR X-1 which I highly suggest you do if you plan on going forced induction!

I am very happy with the truck so far... as for saving money... I can imagine spending more on this to make it the way I want it!

My previous vehicles were loaded from the factory and so I never did anything to them, now I get to add what I want as I go!
