I made a thing for switches because the thing I wanted didn't exist.

You do not have to pull the whole lower dash to add the switchplate. The plastic part that holds the cubby and the couple of switches below can be pulled with a panel pry tool. Of course to get your writing done cleanly you may have to pull the whole lower dash, but that's a whole different thing.

okay, either way it doesn't sound to bad. Taking the lower dash apart shouldn't take long it sound likes, and prob my better option with not messing up the trim or anything on that plastic piece with a prying tool. I appreciate the help.

Sem makes high quality interior paint/dye for plastic. Anyone experimented with trying to match factory color with it? They have a ton of color options to match oe colors.

Do you know what size switch is needed for the stock blank thats is normally the clutch cancel switch on the MT. I'm about to do ditch lights and only need one switch and I want to fill that blank. The one that says press to turn on something?

Has anyone had problems with some of their switches not activating correctly once installed? My led light bar switch works perfectly, until I install it into this and then it's almost like it's too tight around the edges and it's squeezing the switch so when you push it it doesnt move freely. Any suggestions? Trying to sand the edges of the switch hole slightly? My other switches fit and work fine....

I had the same problem with two out of three of my switches. I opened the top and bottom of the holes a little with a file and they work good now. I think the long dimension on the openings are a little tight so they cause the switch to bind when installed.
