I made a thing for switches because the thing I wanted didn't exist.

There are slight differences in the switches from various manufacturers, the AliExpress ones being the absolute worst for consistent fit. Also the Shapeways tolerances are not super exact so I err'd ever so slightly on the tight side. I believe the part description on Shapeways says that in fact, but it's been a while and I'd have to double check. Anyway, if the switch isn't cycling freely sanding a bit of the sides will free it up. Make sure you don't go too far, depending on the switch the window between too tight and rattling side to side can be rather small.

Not complaining at all by the way, love the panel. I know switch tolerance are different. Just to be clear though. The side to side clearance is fine. The CH4x4 switches I used have the clips at the top and bottom and that is what needed to be opened up.

The ones that I've had switch cycling issues with weren't the clips, but the sides getting squeezed too much. Either way, glad you like the panel.

Just had surgery yesterday. 4 pins holding my bones in place, massive amount of pain each time the oxycodone wears off. Worst part, I'm stuck driving my wife's Prius until I can actually shift again, for the next four weeks minimum.

I assume you mean the Doug flag? It the symbol of the usually tongue-in-cheek, but occasionally quite serious for some strange reason, Cascadian separatist movement that that has the stated goal of WA, OR, and BC seceding from the US and Canada respectively and forming their own independent nation. What can I say, I love my bioregion.

I ended up having to file out the entire thing. My CH4x4 switch fit perfectly in the same hole, so i'm assuming it was an issue with my mictuning switch being slightly off...

Haha yes sir, it looks a bit like the Pineland one.

not a dumb question, they are the skinny. the short, fatter ones ch4x4 refers to as "small toyota push series"

Thank you for clarifying - one more question, is ch4x4 the recommended place to purchase switches? I need to install emergency lights on the front and rear of my 2017 and would like to be able to operate those independently, eventually an additional light bar for scene lighting on the front. with that said, assuming I need the three switch version and the narrow switches mentioned above?

    Appreciate the info!

Amen to that, not really an addictive personality myself and really don't like the fog of the Oxycontin so I'm not really to concerned for myself but I can absolutely understand how people get hooked on this. Tapered to 1/4 dose last night, hoping the pain is fully bearable w/o drugs of any kind within another day or two.

That's the route I would recommend, three narrow hole plate and ch4x4 switches. I've had probably 20 switches from various sources come across my desk at this point. Even though they are just about the most expensive, the ch4x4 ones have been the most consistent, which is odd because at first glance they all look exactly the same. (I swear I'm not getting a cut, but if anyone at cruiserheads reads this and is offering, i gladly will)
