I made a thing for switches because the thing I wanted didn't exist.

Where did you get that battery switch? If I'm not mistaken, it appears to be a narrow rocker style switch. Did that plastic guard come with the switch?

Please let me know how it turns out! I think I will have to do the same, I can't find a narrow rocker switch.

I don't think these were ever intended to house rocker switches. I believe @forty2 made these for the OEM Toyota push button switches only.

I know, unfortunately my 32" light bar requires a DPDT or an on-off-on switch...I can't seem to find an option other than a rocker switch.

Since you have the rocker switch and the panel, I'm hoping you don't mind trying to shave some of the plastic away to make it fit...it was what I was going to do, because I don't see any other options for the type of switch I need.

Yes, I think so. It would be really tight (no gaps in between switches.) I only have two switches right now, so we'll see what happens when I get another one.

I really only did this so that I could use the switches I already had. I didn't research the plate enought to know that my switches wouldn't fit. I would not recommend buying this plate if you KNOW you are going to have to shave it down. If you are going to buy this plate, buy the correct switches to go with it and you will be very happy. This switch plate is VERY well made (kudos to @forty2 ) and it took a while to shave it down.

You might try a Toyota push button which is smaller. I'm in the same boat so I'm thinking about using push buttons instead of rockers.

    Pull. Hard.
The cubby is attached with little red clips that snap in and out. Once you remove it, you can just snap it back in place when you're done looking at it.

de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!

Here is a better explanation : I still have mine to do..

The whole assembly with the cubby and the stock switches below comes out as a unit. It is just held in with clips, so I gently pried it out with a trim tool, but you could use a small flat screwdriver (carefully).

Once the assembly is out, you remove the cubby from the back of the assembly. I didn't do it, but it looks like it's held on with 4 Philips screws.

Looks to be a quick and easy job.

I'm sure it's been mentioned already but does anyone know which type of plate I would need for ARB switches?

The fatter Toyota or the skinny Toyota or neither?
