I need a satoshi grille!!!

you gotta use like 100 or 200 grit sand paper and make the plastic on the back side of the grill where you will be placing the plastic tabs and epoxy...that way there is a good bond between the 2...and don't be afraid to put a little extra epoxy...a little extra never hurt no one...that's what I did and my truck is on the mountains every weekend for snowboarding and here in vegas during the killer summers...all my tabs are good and strong since the day I installed em...

 

I'm using the black plastic tabs that TOLL mentioned and I'm using ABS glue to attach them and they are not going to be popping off anytime soon. That stuff has worked way better for me attaching those things than the JB Weld stuff.

Hbmurphy did his satoshi using the center portion of his grille that he cut out and then abs glued it. Pretty ingenious, but I prefer to use the fiberglass on the sides. However, he mentioned that he studied plastics or something in college from what I recall and when use bond ABS parts to ABS parts you should use ABS glue because it sort of melts itself together. I'll vouch for that since I work in a plumbing warehouse and they are always outside using that stuff to glue the pipes together. I mean it's not indestructible but it holds REALLY good. I tried it out using some of the cans that they trashed since it had enough left in them and I would probably have to break the part before it would pop off.

 

Home Depot or Lowes has ABS glue. Luckily, we have them by the cases at my work.

 

send me some...i'll pay you of course... kind of want to try out ABS and the ABS Glue...I got some nifty mods that I always wanted to do and I think this will help me out greatly...

 

I would but I think it would cost more to ship I just called my local Home Depot and they said they sell some that run between 6-10 dollars.

We buy our for 4.00-6.00 depending on how large a purchase we are making at the time so if I added shipping it would be cheaper at Home Depot. Let me know if you cant find it, I'll help you out then.
