Just bought it last week, just tinted the windows and added the paint protection for hood and front bumper. Installed weather tech digital floormats, the rearview mirror extender (from this site), an Optima battery with custom tray, TRD oil cap, rad cap, TRD supercharger!!! Ya!!! Just this week $3710.00 plus $690.00 installed in El Paso, TX at Hoy Fox Lexus Dealership, TRD exhaust, Airaid cold air intake waiting in box in garage, Amsoil Dual Filter remote with 42 Design Oil catch can still to install. Need advice on URD Y-Pipe???? Have URD Welbro fuel pump to install also but want help. Have to sell the mid-mount light bar from (Pelly off this site) never opened it, still in box, but decided to go a different route $100.00 takes it plus shipping in USA.
    Hey gents,

If this has been covered I apologize now.
I recently purchased a 2014 OEM head unit with Nav., Entune, Bluetooth, and XM from FL Trucks on this site.

The unit arrived quickly and well packed. I installed it in my 2012 DCSB, TRD OR which had the basic XM, Radio, CD player with phone controls in steering wheel. I already had the USB port under the climate controls.

I ordered these three cables from Amazon:

    *PT546-00120-CH, 20-28 pin connector
    *PT546-00120-AD, Antenna adapter
    *PT546-00120-US, USB adapter

I installed the new 2014 unit about two weeks ago. Getting the old unit out was harder than I had read about.....it didn't want to break anything....and it finally came out. Then getting the hazard switch/clock assy. out really sucked....but anyway. Finished with the install, and found that the USB adapter I ordered plugs in the back of the unit, but there is nothing from the truck wiring harness to plug into it, why I don't know?

Everything works like a champ, my I-phone, XM, steering wheel controls, Nav, CD, everything perfect, except....when I plugged my phone into the USB port, nothing!

So last night I pulled the head unit out again, checked all the wiring, pulled out the USB port below and tried my best to follow the wiring into the harness....but cants see how it makes its way up to the stereo.
So my thinking is that in the 2012 unit, it worked through the stereo by a different plug, but in the 2014 unit, its an independent plug....

The question: Do I disconnect the factory harness at the USB port and run wiring on my own to the new USB 2014 adapter? I had no wiring left over or unused. Anyway else run into this if so please help. Some photos attached for reference.

Pic #3, shows the unused new USB adapter I ordered.
Pic #2, shows the backs of both stereos, but nothing that matches the new 2014 stereo wiring for the USB.
