We've gotten way off topic. The issue with the shop is use is it's a company shop. Not sure how a ton of people in and out would go over. But anyyyyway. Can I run 5100's with my current springs and spacers to get what I'm looking for?

Springs provide lift. Not shocks. New shocks are needed with taller springs though. To do a lift right requires both.

The way I understood it is the 5100s would provide some lift due to spring perch placement? Is that not the case?

5100s can preload the spring and provide lift but they shouldn't be combined with a spacer.

    1) you'll be on a stiff as fuck ride
    2) you'll be out of wack alignment-wise and need UCA's
    3) people will make fun of you
    4) CVs will blow every 2 weeks

If you're going 5100 route, you need to look into Eibach or OME springs. I think the Eibach springs set you at 2.5" and OME springs vary depending on which one you go with. If you go above 3" you most likely need UCA's but some trucks can do without. You just have to install everything and see how it goes.

if you're rubbing control arms already then yea you"ll need new UCA's
    nice looking truck btw
most people will probably suggest 5100's paired with OME 886 coils since you have a plate bumper.
your best bet is to call marie at headstrong offroad. she will have all the answers you are looking for

What issues will I run into doing a true 3" Lift? Will the tires rub the upper control arm worse? Do I have to worry about cv shaft angles? Will the front diff need to be lowered as Well? When will it stop? If I lower the front diff will the transfer case need to be dropped? I have soooo many questions.

wheels/tires/backspacing play a part. I think most people dont recommend a diff drop.

Welcome to TW, it will never stop!
