FYI, those will have the 5th lead coming off them (87a). It'll be in the center of the relay and you will not need it. You can cut the wire or zip tie it out of place but the cleanest solution is to remove the connector insert out of the relay plug all together.

Looks to me like you have the wiring backwards. I.e. the power wire to run the lights is hooked up to the lead that is supposed to go out to the lights. The only time the upper light on the switch should be lit is when the switch is on. The led will light up due to the terminal going out to the lights seeing 12 volts. Normally that terminal would not have power when the switch is off. So switch the wires from the 12v in terminal and accessory out terminal and it should work normally.

Well I got my relays in, thats the good news. The bad news is, its still not working. You would think following just 4 wires would be simple be no, and I don't have the electrical experience to really troubleshoot it, so I will look for some local TW members to assist. Thanks for the help thus far.

Never mind I had a cup of coffee and another read lol. If your light is staying on full time (the one that indicates your accessory is being powered) you probably have two wires reversed. Make sure that:

Green / Yellow wire = power in from fused source
Red / Yellow wire = power out to accessory / relay

If you reverse those two you will get exactly the result you are experiencing. Also just to make sure the factory didn't mess up here is the order the wires should be in.

Still have a hot light when it gets plugged in. Getting some local help. Thanks. To the best that can figure, I have everything wired correctly.

It is indeed an AOB switch, just took the pic myself. Looks like factory screw up FTW lol. Reverse those two and you'll be good.

Ah well grilling definitely trumps wire work. I'm heading out for some trail riding in a bit but that should be the culprit. Enjoy the party!

I missed something earlier, are you saying that the actual rigid lights are staying on full time too or just the light on the switch? The reversed wires would explain the switch lighting but not necessarily the rigid lights staying on too. Even with the wires reversed the switch should still be able to turn the rigid lights on and off.

Not sure if I misread that part or not. I'll check in when I'm back.

Well I guess it wasn't as simple as two wires being backward

    Hey!
How hard would it be to get another switch and try it? Doesn't have to be the same just a toggle or something.....might be the switch.

    It is not that complex.
