I need your HELP!!! My cousin Taylor Belt is handicapped and needs your vote! When she was born it was truly a miracle. Taylor was born 3 and ½ months early, weighing just 1 pound 13 ounces. She spent 72 days in the Niccu and during that time had a lot of apnea spells where she would stop breathing. At one point she even had to be put on a ventilator to help her breath. She is definitely a little fighter but struggled every day to stay alive. Two weeks before Taylor was able to go home they diagnosed her with Periventricular leukomalacia (PVL). It is a form of white-matter brain injury, which has caused her to develop cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
