I love dogs! I love all kinds of dogs. Mostly useful dogs though. Dogs that bark at intruders, dogs that will eat intruders, hunting dogs, buddy dogs, good looking dogs, non-smelly dogs, service dogs, dogs who were in the service. If a dog has a SINGLE one of those traits listed, I'll love the pooch.
My girlfriend has two useless dogs that she has to baby. Can't leave them alone for a day, one is allergic to everything and needs to go to the vet every other month because he ate something funny or got bit by an ant. They are both ugly as all sin, stink to high heaven, don't bark when need to, are loud when breathing, and aren't even a general buddy dog. They just lay there and take up oxygen and food.
Recently I had to take care of them for three days and my whole house stinks like these dogs and not to mention my truck.

I'm trying to approach this situation with kiddy gloves because she gets hurt feelings easily but there is no way I can see ever living with these dogs that she loves so much.
They are both Pugs by the way. Even my dogs are disgusted with them and they are two Aussies who don't stink and this little ankle biter we rescued from Johnson Valley who was abandoned by some ghetto family. My dogs don't stink, they bark when need to, are active, etc.

    What would you guys do?

Not likely. They wouldn't survive in doggy jail. They'd be someone's bitch in no time.

Find different snatch, preferably one that douches more frequently.

sounds like you need a .22lr, a handful of rounds, a shovel, and a tragic tragic story about how the dogs ran away ;)

two problems with that. 1: She wouldn't believe those dogs "ran" anywhere. 2: 22LR is so hard to find!!!!!

BAAHAHAHAHAHAHA. She just got new ones ;)

She took them to the groomer before we brought them over. Because, the slugs need special treatment because of allergies. You know, all the stuff manly dogs don't have to worry about. Anyways, when they were cleaned up and bathed, they still stunk.

I probably have a little different perspective than some on this subject...I have 2 pugs. The allergy thing is not something that's normal to all pugs. Your gf just got "lucky" in that respect. I'll grant you, they are noisy at times when they breath. But that's a trait a lot of dogs have. As for the smell, you might try a different type of dog food. I'd say you either learn to at least like her dogs, or get yourself another girlfriend.
