    Yes and no. Automakers keep as much part commonality as possible to reduce their overhead. It would make sense that when they start to develop a Jeep truck they would grab a bed they have lying around rather than make run from scratch. Then I'm sure they would eventually tweak it or replace it with something much more "Jeep" looking. Say what you want about jeep, they don't skip on style. Style is what is carrying them through this serious QA slump they have been in.

    I think that's what he's saying... Since the wheel wells don't line up, obviously it's not the production version of the bed

    Agreed, they've got some playing around to do with their wheel base, etc. I would imagine they've gotta do some voodoo to get that tin can putting up respectable mpg numbers.

    Definitely. I'm wondering if they'll use more aluminum like the F-150s
