I've been contemplating pulling the trigger on finally getting LT on my 08 tacoma. I think I already know what I'm going to run just curious what other members r running?? I'm going with Camber for the LT and Kings for the suspension.

Ha. Ha. man I know that I will eventually want or need to get it done. Its just been a thought in the back of my mind. I have no clue just yet what i'm doing for the rear, I just don't know what to go with. I thought about 4-link or the bypass setup with the deavers. But I am getting KING's for the rear as well.

Thanks for the info man! Just took a look on the site and I am indeed interested. Now I'm not sure but in the pictures online it looks like there is an after market spindle gusset?? I read the description and it did not mention anything about it. I'm just wondering if I'm wrong or if it really does come with one?? I'm also wondering do the upper arm come heim'ed or is there an option for one??

We currently do not any spindle gussets designed for the 05-15 Tacomas but do have double sheer upper control arm mounts for our kits. Yes our upper control arms use 3/4" heims for the inner pivots.

Think you should pump the brakes and do more research and acclimate yourself into this before you just buy a front kit. It will really only make the rear of the truck worse. You won't be able to go any faster with just a front kit. You'll be even more disappointed after install. Start by spending your money on doing a SUA rear set up correctly and buy the appropriate kit after.

Or do yourself a big favor and just by a RZR XP1K.

You can beat it like it owes you money, it will take the abuse 10x better than the 5,000 pound truck will, and you can repair it a lot cheaper and easier. There's just no easy way to take a 5,000 pound vehicle and blitz down rough roads without having to go through damn near everything and rebuild, repair, reinforce, etc.

I love my truck. It's bitchin' and 'til death do us part and all that. But if I could roll back the clock, I'd have kept it relatively stock and bought a UTV.

The amount of time, money, and work it takes to build and maintain (arguably as expensive as building when you look at 5+ years of ownership) a full long travel truck that actually gets used a couple of times a month is ridiculous. If you aren't doing the wrench turning and fabrication yourself, you're going to spend a fortune.

@Mxpatriot U know man u make a very good point. I took a ride in a fully done up truck and been in love ever since. I still have a lot to think about before I dumped all my money into it. I wouldn't want to spend all that money and only use it couple times a month that would just be plain stupid. Man getting a RZR is like buying a car all over again i just don't want to spend like 20g's lol

You're going to spend at least $10-15,000 up front no matter what. You can get a nice used RZR 900, or maybe even a 1000, in that price range. So don't let price discourage you. Factor in the lower maintenance and repair costs on the RZR and it's the cheaper route.

I'm not trying to discourage you. Built trucks are awesome, 90% of my family's best memories involve it in one way or another. But there is a lot of time and money that goes into it that doesn't "show through" on the forum. People post pictures of when they're out doing cool shit, they rarely post pictures of when they're rebuilding a caved in engine mount or replacing their power steering rack for the third time (BTDT).

Can't you plate RZRs in Nevada? Dude if I could get a plated UTV I would be all over that like a tornado in a trailer park. Especially since you're in a 2WD truck. That RZR will go places your truck couldn't dream of.

Tacoma will tow a rzr or two easy....

I have a xp1000, thing is crazy fun. I also have a mild built Tundra camburg kit up front and C27's in the rear. There is still something about having a built truck and will go anywhere a rzr goes as long as its not size limited. Truck is a lot more comfortable. I do not beat my truck like it owes me money, and have been fairly fortunate with breakage, I do beat my rzr like a redheaded step child, though its 99% in the sand. To be honest in my case the maintenance isnt that far off between the two and in my experience parts really arent much different (rzr parts have a premium for no reason). If you are the type that cant hold back when playing a rzr is probably the best bet.
