    Hi,

    First time post. I just sold my 91 4x4 and bought an 06 tacoma (v6, off road, double cab). I appreciate all of the help I received in making the decision via searching old posts. I debated tundra/tacoma and limited slip/locking and all of that and am very happy with what I got. I miss the old girl, but it was time to upgrade.

    I used some old posts today to do a 30k service on the new one. This is a great place for answers!

    My old one was a 91 4x4 with the v6 and extended cab and 180K miles. It had low compression in the #6 cylinder which was probably a bad valve ($1500 to fix). Otherwise it was in pretty good shape. I sold it as is and got 2K for it. I thought that was a good price, but the way my phone was ringing off the hook when I listed it I probably should have asked more. The guys who bought it said they were taking it to Guatemala.

    My new 06 is a dc, off road, v6 with 29k miles and I got it for 20K which I thought was a pretty decent price.
