like i tell every local that is thinking of a bumper.....doesnt matter the cost, save up and make sure its something that makes you jiz your pants when you see it.

I get terrible gas mileage with all the armor but it always puts a smile on my face after a good trip.

Have you looked at TJM bumpers? They are comparable to ARB except the center hoop and the foglight cutouts, and the TJM's come with foglights.

Don't get the ARB is ugly as shit. now go and find a manufacturer that can tell you "your bumper will work with your airbag" nobody has done the R&D and crash test like ARB.

I'd love an ARB on my 2016, but life has intervened.

A guy coming in the other direction tried to clip a corner and crossed the center line and hit me head-on but offset. Tore the front suspension off my truck, bent up the frame and my insurance company (after some arguing) totaled it.

It really did. I sent the photo to ARB hoping maybe they'd do something cool like give me a free bumper (ha!) for my 2016 or something. They never replied though.

It actually tore the LCA in half. I walked away though with nothing but a half day or so of soreness, and a ton of sadness losing that truck.

I just installed my ARB with fog cut outs and the arb fogs. Paid $891.79 new to my door... loved that discount. :bananadance:

Besides hacking the stock bumper on the '12+ which is far easier than one would think, it was an easy install. FYI, the bumper chunk slips behind the ARB, so measure 4" from the top lip to the fogs, tape a straight line and hack away. It doesn't need to be perfect because you never see the cut edge.

If you have ARB lust, there is nothing that is going to come close to it for fit, finish, and protection. I had options for anything I wanted to buy, and build, as I have everything needed to make my own in the garage. I chose the arb because there was little I could have improved upon to make it my ideal.

The bumper with a TJM Stealth 12k dropped my TX Baja Pro suspension .5" left and .25" on he right. That is 650lb springs. So be prepared to loose some height. I am planning on swapping out 700lb springs in the not so distant future to accommodate the added spare battery and roof rack.
