i think your model year with the new front is a bit heavier than the previous face as it sticks out more? a good guesstimate is between 130-150

Interesting. Thanks for the info. I’m trying to figure out if the ARB covers for my knock offs.

The 'Engineer' in me had me carefully weigh mine when I installed it. Without a winch, an ARB bumper for the later 2nd gen adds 131lbs net weight to the truck.

Looks awesome. Toyota is putting mine on right now. Like you I've had the ARB lust for about 20 years.

I have no idea. I think accessories rate is $55/hr and the tech is OCD perfectionist so I don't really care. They're installing lift, lights, bumper, winch. I'd rather pay a little more for a good job, then bi$#% about a bad job.

Anyone know how much the rear ARB bumper weighs for the 3rd gens? My truck came with the tow package. How is that dealt with in regards to the ARB rear bumper?

Can a winch be installed as an after thought or is it recommended that you do both at the same time.

I put mine on after I installed the bumper since I was waiting for it. It only takes about two people to lift it off. You’ll want the help aligning the gaps on each side of the fenders, plus the added winch weight. Maybe even three people.

    Not Enough.
I pulled the skid plates and was able to wedge my Smittybilt XRC9500 winch in without pulling the bumper. Wasn't difficult at all, but I'm sure it could be a different story with a different winch.

Just an FYI, the bumper is designed for a Warn M8000, so the hole for the free spool lever is in the optimal spot for that particular winch. I ended up pulling and reinstalling mine several times trying different clocking positions, and the one I settled on is still not great at all. Once the weather warms up, I'll probably pull it back out and try to come up with a new solution.

Yes no need to pull the bumper off to install a winch. It you have steel cable on there pull that off to make it lighter. Can be done solo

I just was quoted 6 hours @ $115 to install the bumper. Does that sound right for this bumper?
