Thats insane for a 2nd gen that doesnt require any cutting. You can do it yourself in half that time. 3rd gen might take that long. Make sure to leave at least a 3/4 inch gap along your fenders. The arb intallation instructions are pretty good.

I think ARB says its 4 hours. I would take it to a body shop. I think they're retail rate are $45-55.

2nd gen 2013-2015 re-uses a top portion of the oem bumper to fill the gap. So there is additional bumper prep/cutting required.

I still haven’t hooked up the side marker lights. Been too damn busy. I need to find the proper way to wire them.

So i got my ARB installed with the winch and offload lights connected and the tech who performed it had 7 hours into it total. ARB i think rec. the bumper at 4 hours then with winch and lights another few hours. I told them to take their time and not rush it as i wanted it perfect as you'd expect from the toyota dealer and it is. Hope that helps.

Just installed mine. It took me about 6 hours, so I would expect a shop to be less (4 ish). Anyway, I haven’t hooked my lights up either, was thinking about paying for that part unless someone can explain it better than the instructions provided...

I just had mine installed via 4wheelparts. They had it done at round 3-3.5 hours. Did a fantastic job. I opted for the led indicators. Everything works as expected. The led indicators light up with the DRLs, and when headlights/fogs are on, there is a white led in the corners with the amber off. I'm very pleased with the installation. Even took the time to adjust the fender liners so that i have less of a chance of getting moisture up under where the lights are.

Don't care if you like it or not, this is one hell of a bumper. Just get what you want and be happy with it. Big money item.
