i don't know much about trucks so this is the only thread I can add something of value to!

the first year of marriage is tough...no matter how long you know someone. Something is different and it takes a man to get through that. Take your time.

As for kids, (and I'm not trying to be a dick here) if you spent as much time discussing with your wife what her thoughts are on the subject as you have reading our posts, you'd probably get somewhere. Having said that, you don't ever want to talk someone into having kids.

My wife owns her own business and didn't have a maternal bone in her body. She worked 12 hours a day and swore she'd never stop. But she did a 180 when we had our first daughter...and now we're expecting #3.

Tell her why you want them, what it means to you and how she can be a part of something greater than her. If she doesn't want to, that is something that you have to live with...but you made a commitment to stay with her until you die. That can't be taken lightly.

If she doesn't want to have kids because she is worried about losing her body I wonder how she is going to feel waking up ever hour and feeding it and rocking it while it screams for no reason. How she probably wont have time to take a shower and do her hair because the baby needs her.

You could always impregnate another female and try to convince your wife that its hers...

If it's just because she doesn't want to get fat, there are TONS of kids who need to be adopted.

    Here's my .02:
Communicate, communicate, communicate...........If you guys are not communicating then things are not going to get resolved. I mean really sit down and talk, don't turn into a he said she said. Be mature about it.

In marriage/relationships it's a 2-way street........In any relationship it has to be a 50/50 split MOST of the time or it isn't going to work.

Yeah, if you think with your head/ heart instead of your dick/ ego it makes picking a good woman much easier and also makes marriage easier.
