I have a IBM thinkpad T43. I've had it for a few years now and never had any problems with the laptop before. Recently, I decided to do a complete cleaning of the computer, and re installing Windows operating system etc. A few days later after completing the cleaning, the laptop began to freeze after just a few minutes being turned on. Sometimes even, I would press the power button to turn the laptop on and the "indicators" would be on but, a blank screen was present! I would do a hard reset and retry, but sometimes the screen still wouldnt come alive. Any help would be appreciated. I'm thinking of calling IBM tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, the computer is out of warranty!
