I completed this same ICON MOD back in the fall and I'm very satisfied with it. I removed the overload spring and the truck sits level with a slight rake to it with a full tank. The brake line clips couldn't be reused do to the extra tension so we just let them hang with no issues. The shocks and everything else will be fine. Do yourself a favor and buy an extra set of center pins the ones that came with the kit stripped out the nut while tightening the leaf springs. Other than that no issues. I'm at work but I can post a picture later on today.

I don't recall the springs being side specific also there's a front/back to the spring I'll take a look to see which end is the back.

thankyou,, i did some research on the icon site, and they said longer end goes towards the back if there is one.. made up my mind and just ordered a set from Amazon.. 212.00.... free shipping...... i read where one guy put them on his truck and it got rid of some of the bed movement, mine moves alot , and i see it the mirror, yea i know,, dont look in the mirror.. its about the only thing that annoys me about my Pro,,, well it will take a week for them to get here,, free shipping via ground,,, cant wait to get them on...

Just for future information sake - the Icon 1.5 AAL is the same as the ToyTec/AP/Wheeler's 1.5 AAL, the Icon is the most expensive (or was at a time) and the Wheeler's was the least expensive at around $160.

They're all identical, except the stickers that say what brand they are. Made by the same spring manufacturer, to the same specs, and then sticker'd for whichever company is going to resell them. To save a little cash, shop around, Icon is quite literally $60 more for the Icon sticker.

For the Icon branded pack, sure.

I was really happy with that setup until I added a shell, then it wasn't ideal. Hope you have the same good experience with them that I did.

my icon's came today, 2 days after i ordered them,, not impressed with the packing,, both together in box not seperated. hitting each other knocking the paint off each other, hard to buy anything anymore without some kind of issues..,, dropped it off at my local service guy, 80 bucked to do the install.. got a 20.00 can of good under coating, so he can spray them after install, and touch up any other spots under the truck,

just got it back,, the rear is just alittle over an inch higher than the front now with overload out, which makes since, because the rear was sagging 1/2 inch from when i bought it 18 months ago, rides better, altho i only drove it home 4 miles, and i notice already less bed movement,, so it did raise the rear about 1 1/2 inch..if i left overload in, the rear would be about 1 /34 in higher. she has alittle over 1 in. rake now..
getting new tires , and some step tubes in the next month,,
