I like camburg a little bit more. It just looks beefy and has the uniballs on the bottom unlike TC. But you cant go wrong with either.

    2.5's?
My sway-ways? I returned my 2.5" body sway-away with 10" of travel and got a set of 2.5" body shocks with 12" of travel instead. I am trying to pull as much travel out back without going through the bed..

True, but Camburg uses the tundra axles. Very easy to get if I busted one on the trail.

I don't even know what Engage uses to maintain 4WD. I am assuming they use tundra axles as well.

Im not sure either. I thought the kit was a little wider than 3.5 so they used custom axles.

I have thought about that but its going to be so much more expensive since I cant do the work myself since I dont know how to weld. And, its my DD and I still like to go fast sometimes to. Im just a kid. Still trying to figure it all out. Thanks for the input though.

LT gets just as expensive... it's never really bolt on and forget it... especially if you like to drive fast... once you get all that travel in there, you will find yourself driving faster whether or not intentional...

once you get the LT kit up front ($2,500), decent set of front coilovers ($1,100), secondary shock hoops(welding) and bypass shocks ($800), you have to look into fiberglass fenders ($300), then you will want to gusset your stock upper shock mounts (require welding), then once you build the front, you will want the rear travel to match which is another $4,000 in parts and labor (welding required)

then when you have all that travel and glass fenders and bedsides, you will realize that you need 33s or 35s to fill in the wheel wells ($1,200+), and that will lead to regearing of front and rear diffs ($700+ each diff, parts and labor)

once built, then you will have to keep up on maintenance...

it's a deep money pit, so you have to factor into the equation whether or not you plan to keep this truck long enough to be worth the investment...

you also have to figure that not being in a desert region, anytime your truck goes down to damage, you could end up having to send for parts to the West Coast if you can't find shops in your area that are familiar with long travel suspensions and parts...

i only bring that up since you mentioned it's your DD...

    ok... back on topic... hahahaha

i say go with what works for your wheeling needs, and then see what comes out to a better deal...

Thanks for all the good information. I appreciate it. I plan on getting another DD sometime after college so I dont have to worry about not having something to drive when the truck does break. I plan on keeping the truck for a really long time so I just have to decide which of the two best suits my needs. Again, thanks for all the good information, it was very helpful.
