    Cheers man.

The coil over is at 1.75". I think out of the package it is set at 1.5". When adjusting it, each full revolution equals 1/8".

The load leaf was removed to get more flex and make it easier to level out; less rake. Knowing what I know now it's going back in. I think taking out the load leaf has created more axle wrap. You can feel it during stop and go driving, the rear end has a bounce and roll effect to it.

Yup I plan On 2" or a little less in the front. I have the Built Right uca's ( similar to Total Chaos) I plan on leaving overload in to get about 2" in the rear also to maintain rake. I am just going to keep my 265/75/16 Toyo's.

I left mine at the preset 1.25

I think I'll leave it alone.

    Thinking 275s like you recommended

Is there any harm in leaving the overload in?

I have stage 7 on my 5th gen 4Runner with dual shocks up front. Not a third gen tacoma, but thought I'd give my input.

Seriously the omegas in stage 7 are incredible. I'd get 7 over 6 any day. Worth the bump in price of you're already spending that much.

From the research I've done, no. Seems most that have tried both ways prefer it in. Evidently when you take it out and replace with the progressive pack you lose about 30% of payload.

Does anyone have an opinion on Bilstein 5100 kit w/ dakers vs. Icon stage 2 kit?

Why Icon? and would you do UCA's and Dakers as well?

Icon is one of the best setups on the market right now. They are expensive though.

There are a bunch of other quality setups out there. Get what works for you. when buying a lift it's a combination of value, budget, and utility. Just no spacers or body lift.

Another one I would check out is OME BP-51's. They're pricey too, but I think if I had it to do over again I would go with OME. I had OME on my Jeep and I loved them.

So right now I have a leveling kit with 285/70/17 tires. I don't want the leveling kit and trying to find a good alternative coil over kit. Will I still be able to run the same tires or do I have to go smaller? I ask because I see a lot of people who have the coil overs are saying 285 tires are rubbing?

From my understanding, the different lift kits out there should not cause the rubbing issue as all they are doing is pushing up your overall truck height from factory. To help eliminate rubbing with an adjustable Coilover just raise the coil over some. Remember that you should not exceed 23" from hub to fender in the front.

Two other key factors to help eliminate rubbing will be the offset of your wheel and your upper control arm. From understanding, minor trimming is required no matter if you want your wheels to fully travel.

On my setup, I am leaning toward 275s as i do not want to mess with trimming my brand new truck, to help keep some mpg and recommendations from fellow TW members like RisingEagle.

Got every thing done this week end except the rear shocks. They come in tomorrow. With the 2.5 extended travel coilovers and Built Right uca's I adjusted the df with a little over 2" of thread showing. Pf a little less than 1 3/4" of tread showing. At that I am 22" from center of hub to fender. Only 1 3/8" to 1 1/2" of lift!? On the rear I left in the over load and added the 3 leaf progressive. Got 23 5/8" on pr and 23 on dr. I put 9 turns on df and 6 turns on pf , I still couldn't fix all the taco lean but I have a full tank is gas right now. I am alittle upset that that is all I got up front and I plan on calling icon about it. I was planning on 2" up front to go along with the 2" I got in the rear but I am not even close! I am really wondering about the warning to not go over the 1 3/4" of thread showing? After doing the front I took a 3 mile drive on our terrible rough county roads ad it felt great! I will get the rear shocks on tomorrow and report back on how it rides. I also installed my sliders! Now I just need my bamf grill and I will be done!
I have never spent so much on a truck, but like I told my wife. This is my mid life crisis truck lol.

Nice man. What stage did you buy? I am also waiting on the color match BAMF grill.

What sliders did you purchase? I can't decide on predator steps or rock sliders for steps/multi purpose.
