I have an Icon stage 3 on its way from AutoAnything. Planning to go with Method Mesh 17x8.5 wheels. What does everyone suggest for wheel backspace and offset?

4.75. Because that is the only choice you have in that size from method.

I think it is, but the place you buy from should confirm it.

How are the billet ones adjusted? I cannot find anything on this.

I had to contact ICON directly to get this info but in this picture below you can see they have 2 gold eye bolts on each UCA that you can adjust in and out to adjust more camber and caster.

Can that adjustment be made with them installed? Looks like you have to twist those to move them in and out. With the large pivot bolt holding them you would not be able to twist them unless you removed the bolt!

Icons design is unique in that its a 3 piece setup. There is the arm itself, an adjuster sleeve and then the heim. On a conventional heimed UCA your UCA bolt would need to be removed entirely to make any adjustment, on the icon setup you adjust off the adjuster sleeve which does not require removing the UCA bolt.

Thanks Cliff, Spoke with you on the phone last week for a kit for my 14 taco. Still trying to make up my mind between the stage 3 or 4 and which UCA's to go with. So to adjust these you loosen the two set bolts then twist the big nut next to the gold eye bolt? Tubular or Billet to many choices.

exactly, its still kind of a PITA to adjust and you probably wont make any adjustments beyond your first alignment but it is still far easier than the other options out there without sacrificing any real strength.

@ToyotaLifer lift looking good. Wondering how much caster you were able to get post alignment? I got 2.3 caster on both sides. Hoping to get more on mine.

So what do you do when you need to do a rebuild of the shocks. if it is your daily driver looks like you will be down a week or two?

If I'm going to have 150 lbs in bumper/winch up front, should I go with 700 or will 650lb spring still handle that fine?

    Wondering the same thing?

Also are you guys using any type of diff drop kit? Been comparing icon stage 3 to boss kit. Boss includes diff drop, don't see it as an option on anyone's website for icon offerings.

Nice ! Glad to hear you're not rubbing ! I'm planning to run the SCS ray 10s 285/70/17 but already doing the cab mount chop just in case. Debating on spacers though

I guess I'm going to have to learn how to remove and replace shocks. Keep the stock shocks and springs around with a spacer for two or three weeks and just take it easy on the streets.

Any of the icon stages doesn't come with the diff drop. I ordered all my parts from dan at wheelers. Easy and fast shipping too!

    Thanks
