This is the most likely answer. Only use a non oil based lubricant. We recommend a product called Triflow

Im getting some noise from the rear end when I make a right turn. No leads, just icon shocks in the rear. Went back and tightened everything and I can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

Update on the noise. The passenger side rear shock lower mount on the axle was bent in slightly. This caused the shock mount to start to dig into the bushing. I torqued it to factory spec. I guess I could have thrown some washers in there to prevent this.

    Sound it gone.

Installed a Stage 7 kit on my truck last week. Overall completely satisfied with the kit. Only thing that bothered me had nothing to do with the install, but rather that the uniball covers and coilover adjustment tool was extra. For stage 7 money they should include that in the kit, just my honest opinion of course.

In terms of the people on the fence about doing a lift kit or modding their new truck, its as simple as "are you in or are you out?". If the warranty issue is in your head and it making you nervous, by all means stay away. As an avid offered enthusiast (Trucks, ATVs, Dirtbikes) sometimes there is a necessity to cut, trim, and notch things in order to eliminate issues that arise. Granted if things are developed properly for an application it should be minimal at best, but sometimes you gotta make sacrifices for capability. Im a firm believer that if you take care of your stuff and do it right the first time, your stuff will take care of you. Again my own honest opinion.

I'll probably get them as well. Did you apply triflow before covering?

I did, I also waited until after my alignment to install them just in case I had to remove/adjust something.

I bought a stage 5 with the 2.5 rear shocks and hydraulic bumpstops. Has anyone installed a kit and noticed the force required to compress the shock different from side to side?

Doing my driver side was a little tough but doable. Moving to the passenger side even putting my full body weight on the shock it was still a little hard to compress. In order to get it installed I had to use the oem bottle jack between the spring and frame and jack that way up. Then use a pry bar to get the shock in. Very difficult on that side.

The did a quick test drive (I'll have to redo this since I'm beat and I think confused on the sides) but one bumpstop had used its complete travel (non stiff shock side) and the other with the stiff shock hadn't compressed the bumpstop at all. My test drive was basically just leaving my driveway and pulling back in.

Just off the lot. Need some help here :)
Just purchased a 2017 Tacoma DCOR. Will do mostly daily driving, some towing of a RZR on a trailer, and some overlanding/offroading, but pretty medium stuff - nothing crazy and not too fast (that's what the RZR is for). Was definitely thinking Icon, with billet, probably Stage 6, so I can adjust the ride when daily driving. Am I going too far up the stack, or is the adjustability worth it?

Unless you are made of money that's a huge waste for what you do. Mild occasional off road get stage 1 or 2.

If you are made of money grab the Stage 6. I did stage five with tubular arms and am happy with it.

I've had adjustable suspension before and basically set it halfway and never touched it again. Bikes, downhill bikes, cars, etc. If you've had adjustable and like fiddling with it go for the more expensive one. :)

That's a bit what I was afraid of. I have a 2015 Wrangler and was told the suspension & lift would ride better than stock, but nope, so I want to be able to have the adjustable part of it to ensure I have some kind of adjustment I can make to it, but you're right, it's a ton of money.

Been looking for triflow. What did you use the little bottle of dry lube or their aerosol? Where did you find it. Looks like only bike shops around here.
