Crank those coils up bro. Sounds like they're too low. And like was said before make sure your caster is set to +3. You shouldn't have to buy new wheels. Cutting won't hurt either.

Thanks! I will double check the caster when I go in tomorrow. My truck is still at the dealership, they are trying to figure it out. Im not buying different wheels, they are... lol! That was thier only solution so far. Im not taking it off the lot until they get it right. I trusted them when we went through suspension/wheel/tire set ups. They told me this combo would work without cutting the cab mount but it hasnt so its on them to figure out. I have a feeling that they just dont know what to do.

have any of you guys on here used the reservoir clamps instead of drilling into the frame to mount the bracket? i would prefer not to drill un-needed holes in my frame.

Or you can pull a leaf from your Dakar pack, but you'd have to read the manual and see which one they recommend pulling.

Has anyone taken their 3rd gen to Icon themselves in order to have them adjust the coilovers to the perfect/recommended height?

As far as adjusting them with a spanner wrench, I've been hearing that the best way to adjust the height is to remove the coilover and use a spring compressor. This is to prevent messing up the threads and scratching the finish on the coilover.

I am not a 3rd gen but have the icon stage 5 on my 2014. I just jack it up with the wheel off the ground. Clean what dirt you have on the coil over with a tooth brush. Spray wd40 on it and adjust it. Works fine for me.

Did you use a spanner wrench?

Getting the icon stage 2 lift w/ 700lb extended travel coilovers and ucas installed today. Icon says the aal gives 1.5 of lift and they recommend to remove the overload. The overload adds a little more lift they say if you keep it in. With the coilovers cranked to the maximum of 1.13 inch of thread showing can it still be level? What are the pros and cons of leaving it in?

I've heard it's better for towing if you leave the overload in, but worse on ride quality. I also went with the 700lbs springs because I will be putting a bumper and winch on the front

Bad for the CV, adjust it to a point where the ripples on the boot are not touching. That's your max. You can go more but you'll be changing boots quite often. Not sure if allpro boots will help for this?
