For me I decided against the stage 1 because it doesn't come with the rear AAL.

I was going to go with the stage 2 but read about so many people swapping out the UCA's or having issues with alignment. With the 20% off I basically got the stage 3 for the same price as a stage 2 kit not on sale so thats how I decided on the stage 3.

It's all probably overkill for me but I wanted a kit that just worked together without having to piece stuff together.

Think I am going to remove the overload springs soon to see how the ride changes. It is quite a bit stiffer in the rear now.

I am getting tired of how stiff it rides. After going over a few speed bumps I can tell that the rear is way stiffer than the front. On rough roads it just feels stiff allover, Couldn't really tell whether it was the front, rear, or both. Took a long road trip over the weekend on I-20 and came out feeling a little worn out from the stiffness. It left me wishing I had left it stock. Hopefully removing the overloads will help. I may also lower the front down a bit.

On another note, I actually have some rub now when I hit a dip fairly hard with wheel turned. I am only running 265/75/16's I guess because of the extended travel? Also after the road trip I am sure I will not be up in tire size, and was happy to get 19.4 mpg on that tank.

Someone posted that ICON suspension "breaks in" over time and will become more comfortable after about 500miles. Try taking it off road and giving it a nice beating.

i would recommend all 3rd gens get these coilovers go with the 700lb springs. im swapping mine next weekend and will post results. i find the stock coils have to be preloaded a little too much to get desired lift

I have about 1600 miles on it now. I also beat it pretty good everyday. I live 2 miles down a rough county road half black top with huge pot holes and half gravel with holes and washboard. Honestly I have a hard time convincing myself that taking out the overload springs is going to help much, but I gotta try something!

I agree for getting the height up past 1 3/4". Very curious to hear how they ride. If they ride better I will be switching too.

What springs do you have now? The Stage 4 kit I ordered is advertised (on Icon's site) as having the 700lb springs.

coilovers from icon come with 650 unless you choose the 700lb springs. 700lb springs look beautiful on a 3rd gen. ive seen kings with the 700's and they look great, and heard they ride even better

Can you guys please explain a bit by "ride better" in the context of 700lb vs 650lb springs on a 3rd Gen? I think "better ride" means different things to different people in different circumstances, so it would be helpful if you could say why/how/what situations you prefer the heavier spring rate. Thanks!
