    an extended travel CO will reach full drop before the lower ball joint maxes out.

    you may be a good candidate for a spring upgrade, as icon doesn't recomend more than 2.5 inches of preload.

    technically there is no moment on the shocks themselves, since all forces applied are along the axis of compression. the moment is about the pivot of the lower control arm. however, the weight difference applied to the front suspension between an access and double cab is fairly small since the extra weight of a double cab is near the center of the wheel base. what will make a larger difference, and what you want to look at is bumpers, skid plates, winches, and cargo in the cab.

    I'm about to roll with some Icon ext travel and Camburg bj uca's! Camburg said they'll work fine as they were aligned to work with ext travel like the others....we'll see!
