No tracking# here, but I did get a second confirmation email.

I went ahead and picked up some bike inner tubes as well, might as well do that before installing.

@uhchxrlie which setting are you going with?

I just have a bakflipMX4, However I do want a little bit more than 1" of lift.

I am going to start at Option 1. My front end is lifted 1.1 inch from the Bilstein 5100 with OEM springs. I only want the rear to go up about 1-1.75 inches.

Someone on here mentioned that the AC weighs less than the DCLB (which is what Icon bases their number off of). I will have a camper shell and bed/drawer system in the back at all times.

there is a video on YouTube of a guy who put option 1 on an AC with nothing in the bed and ended up getting 2.25 inch lift.

we can always go back and change to option 2 if needed. Plus a lot of comments on here are people saying they got more lift than anticipated lol

also why did you pick up bike inner tubes?

That seems like a lot of static weight for option 1. I agonized over the option 1 or 2 prior to installing. I'm a DCLB with 5125's / option 2 with a bed mat and OEM tonneau and got just under 2.75" lift. It rides just fine.
Post #1933 convinced me to go with 2: "For the full RXT leaf pack, Option 1 is 20% LOWER spring rate than OEM stock pack, Option 2 is 20% MORE than OEM, Option 3 is 40% MORE than OEM."

The inner tubes are a preventative measure for squeaking. Silencing Squeaky Leaf Springs: A DIY Guide - YouTube
I put an 8” strip of bike inner tube at each end just inward of the plastic insulators when I was assembling the pack. There are also liners that can be purchased that run the length of the leaf, but I was worried they'd add more lift. 4 months and so far and no creaking. I did fluid film soon after so that may also help.

Appreciate the insight on the bike tubbing, I will look into it as I would prefer to do it before they went on.
In terms of the install we shall see how it goes, you guys can for sure believe that I will be keeping you posted once it gets installed.

Alright I am going to pull the trigger today also. I have them sitting in my cart at 637.12 but I waited a couple of days and I think Icon also sent me a 10% off coupon to finish the deal.

My total is 573.41 with the 10% off and free shipping, however, the payment portal is failing for me right now so I cannot complete the purchase.

Took a crappy pic but you get the point stock springs 1.1 lift with 5100s in the front and stage 2 pack this is with the weight of the shell plus about 350lbs in the bed i have bam beds boards and some pull out sliders with some tools and gear that always remain in the truck.

See I won’t really have tools/gear in the back unless I am going camping. Who knows maybe I will end up going to option 2 but I am going to try option 1 first

I was debating between stage 2 and 3 also but I think looking at those pics above stage 2 will be fine. I will have an Alu-cab full time and a bunch more gear when out camping or hunting but I won't have all that gear in there all the time and I don't want to ruin my ride. Hope I don't regret that and have to rip it apart again to go to stage 3 but I guess it is what it is.

Yeah i will grab some measurements tomorrow the rear settled 1/2-1'' from when i first put the pack on its been about 10-15K took a while to settle in. I regretted going with stage 2 at first with it being too high but then it settled and im happy with it. We buy trucks to do truck stuff which is load up the bed at times. Unless you have no weight in the bed and want a lift or wanted to keep the stock height front i cant see any reason to go with option 1 especially after it settles in. This is a pic when i had just put in the leaf pack different topper but same overall weight as what i have in/on the bed now, i had not put in my front 5100's yet so it was stock front height at the time. You can see it was a good bit taller, have to keep in mind it will settle down whichever option you choose.

:rofl: I started with option 2 then added more weight and had to change to option 3. Option 3 holds weight real well. Paired with my kings ride is great. When loaded I still have about 1.25” rake. IMO I hate the level look. Also easier to look over these huge hoods when off-roading

You need extended brake lines or did you just bend the clip down that holds the brake line?
