 Yeah I was just commenting to @omegaman2 that the posts he was searching for were in fact contained in this very thread. Good luck with your springs.

Are you still running 5125s with icon springs? Any issues?

yes I am, and zero issues. Granted I have not been out fully flexing them, but for normal everyday use, bed loaded down and hi speed attacks on traffic calming speed humps all good

Option 3 paired with the Bilstein pro kit. Short bed with a topper and Victory 4x4 rack on it.

I got a solid 6” of lift based on my before/after measurements, but I’m pretty sure my stock suspension was shot, and it has definitely settled a bit over time.

Any full side profile pictures? How is the ride quality at option 3?

Ride quality is awesome. Absolute world of a difference over the stock OR suspension. I went with option 3 because even though I don’t have anything permanently attached (other than the cap and rack) I constantly carry a ton of shit in the bed. Camping gear, trailer, drywall, 2x4’s, mini bikes, quads, wood for burning etc etc. I was also planning on a steel bumper for the rear around the same time, I just haven’t done it yet.

Last big trip was up to Ontonagon in Michigan’s upper peninsula. 12 hour one way trip with 8 guys shit to last a week stuffed into the bed and strapped to every square inch of both Victory racks and the suspension didn’t even flinch. Rode like a Cadillac.

Looks good. You have some rake, but you also have an aftermarket front bumper as well. What shocks and front springs are you running? I have a similar setup, less front bumper. I am about to install the leaf kit at option 2 with 5100s and 887 springs up front. Picture is "before". I did add a over cab frontrunner rack as well.20201122_205504.jpg

I have the Bilstein Pro kit on there. I have every intention of adding 1/4” spacers up front to level it out a bit, just one of those things I haven’t gotten around to yet.

I’m currently on option 1 and I carry no load 98% of the time. I want it to go higher so I am raise the front more (still keeping the stock rake) do you guys recommend going option 2? I have kings ext travel with adjuster. 700# springs in the front, gonna have full skids in front, 100+ pound hybrid bumper etc. thanks!

Oh btw, didn’t realize this was for 2nd gen. I have a 3rd Gen short bed but I’m assuming they apply the same

Probably similar. But I have mine on option 2 with the same kings. 700# springs in front, Diff skid, bed rack.

How's the ride? I have no load most of the time and dont plan on running anything back there besides the occasional load here or there or when i take trips that fit under my tonneau cover

The ride is a little stiff, but I also mostly drive unloaded minus the bedrack, and my compression adjusters are always on the firmest setting when on paved roads. But it's still not as stiff as my WRX used to be, so that's my measure of what's too stiff lol. If you stay with Option 1, and/or set the compression adjusters to a softer setting, it's much more livable.

A few mods here and there and counting....
Option 2. Picture is deceiving because the parking lot is at a slight incline. Need to bring front up a bit.

Thanks for the tip! I'm planning to run 35s so getting it a little higher would be great
