I have an Icon stage 4 installed on my truck and plan on adding an RTT with bed load bars. I am wondering if the 2.0 rear shocks with resis and icon add a leaf will hold up to this added weight? I don't have any bumpers or skids just rock sliders and that's how I plan on keeping it.

Not sure... but if you could always try it out and if you’re sagging then you could upgrade to a different leaf pack altogether.

I have the Old Man Emu Dakar heavy leaf pack and it works super well. (EL096R)

Can't remember does the stage 4 upgrade the leaf springs? If not you may want to look at adding an AAL or something similar. although not much a rack and tent can weigh up to 300-400 lbs. of constant weight. That can and will ruin a lot of OEM springs if they are not set up for the constant weight.

Are you running aftermarket shocks or just a leaf pack?

do they give you the new load rating? You should be fine if it does, but keep an eye on them, AAL typically add 10-15%

Running bilstein 5160 rear shocks. Have 10 inches of travel (14 inches compressed and 24 extended)

Our setups sound pretty much the same other than I use Fox shocks. I have Icon AAL with the overload still in and Fox 2.0s in the rear. Overall the setup works fine with my tent on, but does bring the back down a little (as everything is configured it's level with the tent on and gear in). I do have the adjusters on the fox 2.0s so I can crank up compression a little with the tent on. You should be good without too much squatting though.
My tent setup is a CVT Shasta Summit on Relentless Fab Bed bars.

Okay so do you recommend I put my overload leaf back in? Or would it be fine without it

The shocks will be fine. You would probably like a full leaf pack better than your AAL. Icon RXT, DAKAR or check out @Blackout14 he makes some.

If you keep the AAL I would put the overload back in...

I’ve had my overload in the whole time, so I guess I’d recommend it. I do plan to swap to a complete leaf pack sooner though.
