A RTT would be much better than sleeping on coral and lava rock

But fuck that, so air mattress it is

Well I'm planning on getting sliders and a bed rack this summer, then as soon as I have my own place I'm going to order an RTT. If I got one right now, I would have to keep it on my truck 24/7... Haha

My wife and I ordered an air mattress with a built in pump that will fit in our tent:D Now I just have to be able to get the tailgate within 25ft of the tent and we are golden:D

    RTT would be awesome though!!

That second site was the best in the small plateau. Excellent flat spot, wind breaks on two sides, fine decomposed granite surface like sand. The view wasn't bad either. :D The next day we hiked over 13k ft Forester Pass on our way to Mt. Whitney. Amazing place.

Just met up with Tyler and Kelley. We had lunch at Applebees and BS'd. In the parking lot Tyler noticed that I looked taller so we pulled out a tape measure and sure enough I am. Sort of. haha. We measured ground to frame so it would be fair. On the front we are even and in the rear I was 3/4" taller. He is on 35's and I am on 33's though. haha. He does have a swingout and RTT in the rear plus a 500lb tote in the bed. His poor All pro standards aren't fairing well... Even with the shackle flip he is sitting on the bump stops...

I had not really regretted my choice to not go this year until I saw this pic.

 you be nice to the mooses!

have you ever tried a self inflating pad like the thermarest? i love mine, never slept so well in my tent as i did with that. a million times more comfortable and warmer than a foam pad.
