Nah he has to be at like 3.5-4'' to keep the rake. The AAL gives like 1'' at least. more like 1.5'' im sure. What mine did.

 

Left side is stock, right side is a shackle flip prototype.

I think there are a few prototype flips out there, but last I knew none of them were finished. I think they are having travel/alignment issues with them.

no if im going with new leafs. Ill get the Alans. They can make me a beefy ass pack that flexes great and keep my lift a 4'' WITH all my extra weight(400ishlbs!) AND..i don't have to relocate hangers like you did

I have been talking to a sales rep for the last 3 days now. For 700 bucks..i think it'll be worth it.

 

ATO has yanked their kit. I just read back through and they still don't have an ETA on the redesign. Other than that all I know of is a thread some guy posted about a 2nd gen shackle flip but he is still working on his too.

 

Chevy have been like that for a long long time.

Just have seen then like that on the S10s and Blazers. Old chevys too and i think dodges from way back when like 1 ton trucks. I think that design helps with payload or spring life..or hell idk..haha

Thats 10" of wheel travel, not shock travel. That would be about right. I don't think I am quite at 10, more like 8.5" or so with my SAWs which are the non-extended version.

I should measure again now that I have the camburg UCAs to see if there was any change.

 

what yoou talking about Herm? Ian and I were talking about Monte's truck. It was a 1st gen discussion.

 

shouldn't have changed a ton. Maybe an inch.

with extended shocks you'd be be a 10'' easy if not more for wheel travel.

 

I cant seem to find anything on the OME/ARB website about shock lengths of the Nitro chargers
