Idaho BS thread in the PNW

Cut the Kevlar with nickle/ cobalt or titanium coated shears if you use and angle grinder with a cutoff wheel it will spark like crazy. Tape the cloth before you cut it do it doesn't Fray.

 

I was hearing that the Mcgruder is going be more of a "scenic drive" than offroading trail per-say.

As for the Kevlar..id try dremel with a cut off wheel lol

 

I figured out a hillbilly way to cut it. Took my wife's fancy hair cuttin' scissors to it. The trick is to cut it under tension. Man that is some tough shit. Hopefully the carbon/Kevlar weave will be a little easier.

This is very true. Certainly not going to be hardcore rock crawling. More of an expedition type of run.

The Mcgruder will be fun.

The Independence pass trail in the Fall Mark, is not as hardcore as you think. Its pretty simple drive really.

Neither one will be even as complex as Seven Mile Rim. But they will be lots of fun.

 

I'll be around and I didn't bye a hybrid civic. I haven't bought anything yet...
but its possible it will be gone this week.
