    TDI..those things are still pretty sweet....Get the GTI( I think thats what they are) instead....little more sporty.

    I dont have a soldering iron and Im an "engineer"...light and shrink wrap for the win :cool:

    Oh shit! Yeah, that could cause them to break! :p Well thanks for the write up, man... totally sick mod! I just don't wanna eff up my corner lenses! Especially since I JUST put new black ones in! I liked the idea of the copper pipe making the hole, too, but that seems like it could be an easy way to screw things up! :eek: Know of anyone close to Boise that has done the mod??

    If you use the heated pipe method...it's really hard to screw them up. Just go slow and take your time and it'll be fine. It works awesome

    I posted this in the 1st gen section but maybe you guys have some insight.

    So i check my rotors and bearings and they seem fine. Front drivers still squeaks at low speeds. My LBJ just started to leak grease, wonder if that has to do with the squeek? Does the LBJ affect alignment with the rotors? What i mean is, if your LBJ is getting soft, does it make anything rub in the steering and brake components?
