I tried calling them, looks like they are closed until monday I'm guessing. Either way a hell of a lot cheaper than getting them locally!!!! Should I order extra bulbs? Also, the headlights you got off ebay, did you ever have problems with leaking or fogging?

Hey man another canadian Taco owner here with my advice for you. Check out www.hidcanada.com. Click under HID conversion kits and you can purchase an H4 Bi-xenon kit for $179.99 Canadian. Comes with everything you need and the ballasts are fully digital and rated down to -40C. I was thinking of getting this kit myself but have decided on doing a proper retro in the springtime. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Since everything from hidcanada ships from here there is no extra fees because nothing has to cross the border. Check em out...

    Hey, I appreciate the help!
I live close to the US border, so worse comes to worse I get it shipped to a place just across the line and then bring it across. The 179.99 is a huge leap from 55 from ddmtuning.com. I wonder if the ballasts from ddm aren't rated for as low temperatures... What is making you choose the retro over HID?

    Hey Murdered,
Is there any delay when switching from low beams to high beams and vice versa?

Got an email response from the guy selling those headlights you linked me to, he said they will not fit a 2010....doesnt make sense though. I though 06-10 were all the same as some headlights say they fit all years...hmm

Yeah im not sure what the DDM ballasts are rated for but Im from Manitoba so it does get a lot colder here then it does in BC!!! Im choosing a retrofit because the hid bulb is housed in a proper HID projector housing and not the halogen reflectors that come stock on our trucks. With projectors you will get a nice clean cutoff and I dont have to worry about blinding anyone due to the glare of hid bulbs in a halogen-based reflector headlight.
