I painted mine right after I bought it, so 6 months ago and it only has two chips in it.

has anybody actually powder coated theirs? cause I didn't want to trust myself to paint it, I know my unsteady hands will make it look terrible, local powder coaters want about 150, which I think is def cheaper than finding a black or color matched bumper and painting it, cause most places won't paint the chrome

I did the paint myself, and it was my first time using a professional air gun. Came out pretty good, kinda messed up when I did the wet sanding after though. But it's a bumper. And you can't tell its messed up unless you're up on it.

Sell your OEM if it's in good condition. I think I got $200 shipped? New one pays for it's self.

150 is cheap to p/c. I wanted my done and they quoted me 300 to 400 . Everything is more money in mass lol. I wouldn't see why I't wouldn't be good. P/c last and it is durable. Looks good too. Go for it. And well your out there have mine done lol.

i'd have to keep all the plastic and mounting parts, and so after shipping i figured i might walk away with $50 if i'm lucky, and a new primered one is about 200, and paint is about another 125. i just found this

I sold the guy just the metal. I kept all plastics and clips, etc. He got exactly what the part # is. Just the bumper. Nothing else. He knew it, and paid $200.
