I need a name for a dog and a cat. They are both females. The dog is a daschund mix (shelter doggie). The cat is gray and white. I usually pick names that would be fit for a person. Nothing like Shaggy, Prissy, Chewy...
If necessary, I will try to post pictures tomorrow.
I was thinking about Riley, or Ashley for the dog. No ideas for the cat yet.

Bailey for the cat, maybe josie for the dog?

My neighbor had a dog named Josie. They have a female dog now named Riley. I like that name as well.

I always like the name Bentley, i wanted to name our new puppy that but my mom paid for it and called her Britney.

For the cat not sure. Maybe Google "the best female cat name ever".

Hopefully there'll be several potential names/phrases/interjections on this thread by tomorrow afternoon. Of course the cat will have to approve of her name. The dog could care less, I'm sure. I've been calling her Itsy-short for Itsy Bitsy- but that violates my policy of human names only!

I do like Bentley. Do you think it sounds cool for a cat's name?

I'm even liking Brittney, but I think I'd shorten in to Britt.

I had a dog named Chewy... my favorite dog of all time. Alaskan Malamute and German Shepherd mix. Named Chewy not because he chewed things, but because he would talk and sounded just like Chewbaca.

I would name your cat Dee-oh-gee.
