Idle Problems!!

    Hey guys i need help my truck tends to idle very high at the crank like at 2000 rpms and once it’s warmed up it still idles at 1000 rpms and sometimes out of nowhere it’ll idle up and down for 1000 to 2000 or 2500 rpms countinuasly until in gear off the clutch is there an idle adjuster or is it something else going on???

    Sounds like a throttle position sensor is wonky.

    I've had to replace two in my truck's lifetime with the same symptoms.

    lol yeah I was trying to fix it the moment I posted it and yeah i kinda figured that’s what it was but i wasn’t sure thanks! Do you happen to know where on the3.4l is it located

    The IAC is located below the throttle body.

    Mid travel
    I had the same probs with mine, changed the MAF, cleaned the IAC, and bought a new coolant temp sensor. Fixed the problem.
