I replaced all the idler pulleys no problem... then came the tensioner pulley. I think I cross threaded the bolt into the bracket as it goes in crooked now. I need suggestions, instructions, anything! Need help ASAP!

Ouch. I don't think a reverse-thread bolt comes with tensioner assembly. Cross-threaded may not be a waste if the bolt holds tension. Use some thread locker and keep an eye on it. Heli-coil?

I ended up replacing the entire tensioner assembly. Almost done putting everything back together this morning.

I used this thread to change out my pulleys and belt. No more supercharger whine. Big mahalo to all the contributors and OP for making this so comprehensive.

OK, thanks...so this includes all the idlers AND the Tensioner? One of the reviews said it did not. Just want to make sure I have everything I need to do this.

This does not include the tensioner pulley. From what I have read in this thread, it is a PIA to replace the whole tensioner pulley, and one of the replacement pulleys will work for the tensioner. I think it’s on the 1st or 2nd page.

That kit does not have the tensioner pulley. Febest carries a replacement pulley, part # 0187-GRJ200 - it's made in China. I pressed out the bearing and installed a Japan made Nachi bearing, # 5203-2NS. The bearing size is 17X40X17.5 (ID X OD X Width).

Did this today. Replaced all the idler pulleys, tensioner pulley assembly, and the serpentine belt.

Can verify tensioner pulley assy is a pita. Worked out alright in the end, and now my engine is so quiet I have to check to make sure its still running.

Yes, bearing presses out of the pulley. Just make sure the pulley can be re-serviced. And when you press the new bearing into the pulley, press on the outside race, not the center of the new bearing or you'll damage it.

Yes! Mine went out on a Saturday, dealership was closed. Went to local bearing shop and they matched it! I posted specs on bearing long time ago.

FYI if you do change your whole tensioner, buy an OEM replacement at a dealership, ones you find at autozone or oriely's etc are not an exact match, you will see once installed that the belt does not sit center on the pulley. See pic above of belt... thats what happens when you use them. Learned that the hard way.
