If you didn't drive a Tacoma, what other brand of truck would you be driving?

Contrary to what the haters say I loved mine. I put that thing through the paces and really asked it to do things a half ton was not designed to do and it never gave me one single issue, check engine light, or sputter

Plus it drove like a caddilac.. so trips back to Texas from NC were so comfortable

Or I would take my 09 GTI back in a heartbeat.. I know its not a truck but I miss her :(

My buddies grandpa has a lightning I was told was pushing 600 horse to the rear wheels. I've ridden in it twice and I believe it has 600hp!

Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
I'd find a CJ-7 or Scrambler rotting in a field and buy it for the VIN. I'd then buy a new frame and tub and start with that. I'd add a straight-6 carberated, SM465, Atlas II and Dana 44's. I'd gear it at 4.10 (due to no overdrive gear) but the Atlas II 4.0 would make up for it on the trail.

...not that I've ever thought about it or anything.

F150 Raptor for sure. If Ford hadn't screwed me over on the clutch in my GT500 I would be picking one up instead of the Tacoma I ordered...

Just sold my lifted 2008 FX4 F150. Great truck and 165,000 miles with no serious issues.
