    I would choose in this order, 1993 12v cummins, Hummer H1 w/ cummins swap, and 1997 2500 cummins w/ 6 speed swap.

If going new, probably a Silverado or Sierra... I like the ideas of the small diesel in the Ram 1500, but I simply hate the look of those trucks. So freaking insecure... "look at me, I'm a big truck!" Plus I question the reliability.

If I were going used, I'd look for a nice clean older Toyota SR5, 4Runner or maybe even an old FJ if I just wanted a toy.

I'd go back to my SR5 Tundra. This time I would get a 4x4....I never thought I'd have this much fun with a 4x4 Tacoma.

I hear there is supposed to be a diesel tundra coming...I would do that because the only reason I sold my Tundra is I never used it to its capabilities and was getting less than 15mpg on it. With a diesel I'd get better MPG so I would have no reason to get a Tacoma.

If I didn't need the hauling and 'heavy duty' nature of the tacoma.........

I've always thought the Subaru Baja's were cool (Ok, so...I'm a girl right?).

But considering we need the hauling, etc..... I don't like fullsize unless I need to tow something big (I owned a Dodge Ram for a few years).

In reality....Probably Chevy or GMC. GMC Canyon perhaps? (newer ones anyway).

    In a dream world and I didn't need towing/hauling - A Jeep Brute :D

I'm not really a Jeep fan, but I saw something like this on the road the other day and loved it. It was black and lifted. Can't remember if it was a 2 or 4 door.

Once my son takes over my Tacoma in a couple years I'll probably get a Lexus ISF AWD and just borrow the truck when I need it.

My choice came down to the Tundra and the Tacoma and I went Tacoma. So naturally second choice would be the Tundra.

Unless we are talking dream trucks, then it would be a Raptor, Unimog, some huge diesel, etc. But those definitely weren't in my range of options when buying my Tacoma.

2000-2007 F250 crew cab 4x4 diesel, preferably 2000-2002 with a 7.3 Powerstroke but I would take a 6.0 if the truck was clean enough and spend the money bullet proofing the engine before it blows the head gaskets.

    Also would be very interested in a 2003-2009 4runner V8 4x4.

I have been patiently looking at both of these options for awhile now. I have no intentions on selling my Tacoma though, just want to keep the miles down so that I can pass it on to my daughter when the time comes.
