Have you ever driven an Aztek? I had one as a rental once, and I took it back for safety reasons. Stupid thing kept changing lanes in a crosswind burst. Nope nope nope nope nope.

This question is more for the non biased people.. but if I don't go with the Tacoma I'm going with the Tundra or the F150 lariat FX4. Never owned a ford, but love everything about it. I'm hoping the new tundra is up to par with the tech and other features.

    What are your suggestions?

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Personally, for a half ton full size I wouldn't recommend anything other than the Tundra and F150.

The new Silverado looks nice, but GM just never gets it right.

The f150 and Tundra both employ Americans to build, and have the highest parts content. That's win win.

Can't go wrong with either IMO. I'd favor the Ford but the Tundra is also nice.

I know that around here and everywhere will be people swerving for their manual
transmission cars. Good for you, but we are in 21 century now, living in the richest country in the world, in Europe every one drive stick, and if you ask them will say:
automatics are expensive. What I will say, you are cheap, get another job, bay an automatic.

That has nothing to do with it.... Some people prefer driving manual. Myself included. That's just an ignorant statement.

Eating cheese burgers and drinking from big gulp while driving is hard to do with a manual. With an automatic it's almost natural.

This is bullshit. I can do all those things with my manual.

Let the oppression of the tyrant automatic movement end!! All vehicles should be manual!

Just put it in 3rd gear, you can go as fast or as slow as needed, combined with your knee its a no hands driving experience you can write a book or do a puzzle if you like.

I am definitely one of those non-biased people because I am 50/50 between the 2016 Taco and the 2015/2016 F150.

The reason I am partial to the F150 over the Tundra is for a couple of reasons:

    - Better gas mileage
    - I like the looks a lot better both inside and out
    - F150s are known for toughness and dependability, Tundras are too, but not quite as much
    - There are a ton of F150s on the road, so it is cheaper to fix them, find parts for them, etc. It is also easier to sell private party (if you go that route) since it is so well known. People want F series trucks that is why it is the highest selling vehicle year after year after year.
    - F150 just got redone so if you can settle for an older model (2014) you can get a huge ($10K-$20K) discount.
    - A lot more options from the factory, aftermarket, etc. I am not into modding trucks, but if that is your thing F150 has tons of options.
    - Raptor...

No shit. Dickheads stole my keys recently, couldn't take the vehicles because everything I own is a Manual.

Best anti-theft device in the US these days.

I'd have to say F-150. For what you pay you get a lot of nice options and it's a well rounded truck. I'm not into heated leather seats, sun roofs, or all the bells and whistles. All I need is power doors, power locks, and 4x4. One day I will I will grow up and full size with all the features will be more appealing. Until then I drive my little Tacoma. I'd like to say Tundra but I think the money would be more well spent with Ford. They have come a really long way the full size truck market.

Thank you humans for your suggestions, I will ultimately have to wait till all 3 vehicles are out an see them in person. I just can't wait any longer nor drive a car anymore.

After my experiences with a 1st Gen Explorer and a 3rd gen Mountaineer (apparently, the Ford engineers that designed the Explorer/Mountaineer chasis felt that control rods, ball joints, anti-sway bars and leaf springs are consumables, like air filters and oil), not sure I'd be willing to risk an F-150. Although we had a 1972 F-350 crew cab when I was learning to drive (early '80s) and that thing was a tank. We had a brand new Chevy van as well and stuff broke on it all the time.

I moved from an SUV to a crew cab pickup because the Tacoma got better gas mileage, had more cargo area, could tow a heavier load, and didn't drop in value like an SUV or other trucks (even the Tundra).

So, if I wasn't going to buy a Tacoma, it would be because I didn't need a pickup/SUV anymore. So I'd probably get a hybrid. A BMW I8 looks nice. With a MSRP of over $130k, I should be able to find a used one for under $30k in about 3 years.
