Are you considering the new Ridgeline when it starts coming out on the market? I didn't own a Ridgeline but I loved my Hondas.. I miss the comfort and technology that my Accord had..

If you get a domestic truck you would be wise to keep your "07 Taco as a backup. You will need it.

2015 Titan Pro4x sounds like a great deal. The Access Cab at 225 inches though was too long for my garage (as are ALL of the fullsize AC's), hence the 218 inch long Tundra AC.

Titan AC has great features and specs though. 10.7 inches stock ground clearance, 28 gallon fuel tank, all the amenities, 45.4 turning circle is a bit much.

These new midsizes like the Gen3 and Ridgeline have some appeal but not worth $35k OTD with less ground clearance and barely better amenities than an '05 Tundra. And no 4.7l.

If I didn't get a Tacoma I would probably end up with a Nissian Frontier. I'm not a fan of full size trucks and I don't find the Chevy Colorado very attractive.

My dad has a 2016 Nissian Frontier 4x4. It actually feels a lot more solid compared to my Tacoma.

The 2016 Tacoma was going to be my first new vehicle, but ended up not being a fan. I'll probably wait till MY2018, by then the new Ford Super Duty, Ram 1500, Ram HDs, and hopefully Jeep truck will be out. If I had to pick something out of the lineups now, they would most likely be a Tundra or F250.

I have my 2016 Tacoma TRD Offroad. It was a tossup between that and a Nissan Frontier PRO4X. The only issue between the 2 for me was I didn't trust my local dealer. I went to Nissan first to start comparison they just didn't respond at all. I wouldn't buy what people would call a domestic brand. Local dealer had a better reputation fixing trucks that should be under warranty. Any new truck is likely to require visits to the dealer, better have one you have confidence in. Stepped up to the plate with local Nissan and they wouldn't even pitch the ball. So I ended up with Toyota and a dealer I have faith in. I win, Toyota wins and my local dealer wins. Nissan and its dealers not so much. But no Toyota then it would be back to Nissan.

Unless your 07 Taco gets the CRC sprayed on, then having a frame perforation and a truck that will not pass inspection.

It's so sad the Frontier related forums are so dead compared to Tacoma's... Worse they haven't been updated in 12 years, but the rest of the world has the NP300. Nissan is supposed to introduce a new frontier for our market late in the year, but news about it is almost non-existent. Looking at the websites of other countries like Australia I would pick the Nissan over the Tacoma for the bigger interior. A pro4x DC in a manual. Luckily my current lease end April 2017 so I have time for something to show up.

TRD Pro 4Runner probably, they are super good looking to me. I would have loved the interior space, but the truck for owning a house, and my only car, had to go Tacoma. Not at all unhappy with my choice.

My next truck will be a F-150, after I finish driving the wheels off my Tacoma. I was really hoping the "new" Tacoma would be more of a step into modern times.
