I am a huge believer of locking up all the guns I am not currently using.

always telling people "when they break in to your house, they gonna take those guns"

I have one pistol that is easily accessible for carry, everything else is locked in wall safes...

    stop arming the criminals...

Is a wonderful thought, but as you know will never happen.

Make sure you activate it! You dont automatically get it with your membership but rather have to activate it.

Also do some research on the policy at its quite a joke really. Soooooo many exemptions. And you can read plenty of reports of people being denied claims.

Honestly call up your homeowners insurance company and add a rider to your policy. I know the one i went through covers pretty much everything i could want (suppressors, rifles, scope rings, scopes, reloading equipment, ammo, ect) and only added like 8 bucks a month to the policy. Plus they let me set the value of guns. I could get 1k for a glock if i wanted. Which is nice when you have pistols with upgraded triggers, ect.
