    That's too bad, its a good idea. For the next size up if you left the location on the bumper where it was but moved the mounting point out farther on the swingout to account for the longer shock would it still be in the way of the tailgate?

    No worries! One twice as long would work better but the tail gate would res on it.

    Finally got the truck back from the shop to get my @ECGS diffs installed. Feels so good to get power back in the truck especially with the 35's. I just have to boxes up my old ones to return as cores.

    I got to say dealing with @ECGS was great! They have great customer service and really took the time to answer all my stupid questions.

    Things to do next are to wire up the compressor to get the front ARB locker working.

    What gears did you end up going with? I need to regear really soon.

    @Sje1124 I got 4.56's and love them. Still waiting to try out the locker.

    I went from my gears being 9.33% high to being 10% low over stock.

    How do you figure all that stuff out. From what I'm reading I think I need 4.88s

    @Sje1124 Check out on page 5: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/iggys-1-taco.368214/page-5

    I got the hyper tech speedo fix and that's what the program is telling me. It feels like stock right now which is great, but if I didn't do a lot of highway driving I would have gone with 4.88's. I sometimes drive the truck on trips to SoCal and didn't want my revs high going 70 for 6 hours.

    Are you an auto or manual? I plan on going 37s within the next year or 2 and don't want to have to regear again. But I also do a ton of highway driving. It's at least 3+ hours one way to the closest trail

    Auto (FTW), so I don't need to go as high.

    Hmm I have an auto as well. So would you recommend 4.56 over 4.88 for me?

    If you're going 37's I'd get 4.88 for sure. But I like the 4.56's and 35's. I need to break in the gears to really get a feel for them.

    It's hard to tell. I think the bracket is strong enough, but it looks like the base may be too small. Are you clamping them to the tubes?

    Yeah, there's just not enough room on the front of the bumper to mount them. I figure clamping them to the center tube would be my best bet.

    How much space is behind the two holes on the center?

    Maybe an inch....the bracket sticks out front by a half inch or so.

    Did you see if the lights fit there? It looks like they might work, but the photo could be deceiving.
