Awaiting parts, but wanted to share...

Wanting to keep things tight and neat, I thought of this: Use all spaces in the connector EB1: Which handles Alternator IGN sense source (Lime Green), Starting Coil (Yellow w/ Green Stripe), Generator Load sense (Gray) and Alternator Sense (White). There are two more empty slots which are the ones I.D.'d for IGN tap for added electrical mods.
So making a mini harness and getting a one slot matching connector (M&F); this to remove the OEM male connector from its under location and inserting it into said connector, then inserting made mini harness to other side. On other side of mini harness are all male terminals, one to original location and two other ones to empty spaces in connector EB1. On the vehicle harness the plug would get two female pigtails to use for IGN mods.

The fuse box has to be opened to access and install all this.

Edit: Where do you buy the pins for those connectors or find the part numbers for them?

Thanks! And what types of pins do you use for the relay contacts?

For now, uninsulated .250 female terminals. Can't find the proper locking kind. Might go to junkyard and scavenge some.

I just took another walk out to the truck with my trusty Fluke 88V (I've had that thing for a good 15+ years).
I found IGN at three terminals in connector 2B thats in the main under hood junction block. Now I'm looking through my EWD's to see what those terminals have in common.

Would you happen to know the part number for this terminal circled in white?

No I do not, but a .250 spade uninsulated would fit on the other side...

Are they push to lock or pull to lock? Metripack 630 female terminals are pull to lock. Can be had at customconnectirkits.com. Push to lock are common relay female terminals and can be had at Amazon or O’reilly’s.

That's close to what I'm looking for. I was thinking that I could add a terminal/wire to the junction block in the are I circled in white and then add a micro fuse such as this: https://www.customconnectorkits.com/fmm-30/

Sure...they are "slow" blowing. Lowest available is a 20 amp.

I would probably use a 50A fuse, one for each relay box. I also searched my EWD's and haven't seen what power those three IGN sources I found.

Has anyone done this to eliminate fuse taps on the interior fuse panel?
