I'm getting a "P0354 Ignition Coil D Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction" from my check engine light. I was thinking of doing an ohms reading on each coil to see if the problem was a bad coil. Has anybody been down this road before?

I'd say you need a coil. I njust looked up that code, and it says as long have the correct voltage at the ECU, the coil is bad. The P0354 is for cylinder #4.

It also shows the coil is tested with a volt meter, not an ohm meter. Swap 'em around and see if the code comes up for the same coil, on a differnet cylinder. The code should pop up with in a few seconds.
