Okay I'll check and see what they can do as far as a price break and let you guys know.

I'll let you know once I am a bit further but it is something I'm looking into. If you aren't aware though there is a illuminated 4wd switch for the 12-15.... I believe it's a 4 runner switch. Actually I think @JdevTac has one if I'm not mistaken. I'm just looking into more of a flush mount option similar to what we already have but illuminated.

Awesome that the Tundra ring is white! I think what I am going to do is remove the 4Runner Amber colored ring and sell it at a good discount to a forum member who wants to do the mod and has the amber dash. I am going to pickup one of these Tundra rings so long as it works out for you.

Yep just like the link Up2NoGood posted, 4th gen 4Runner knobs work, they just protrude a bit. I haven't manned up and pulled my dash yet to install it but it will get done one of these days lol. Most importantly you can change the LED to whatever color you want since it just uses a neowedge bulb.

There are a couple links in that thread which no longer work. The part numbers aren't available. 4th gen would be ? - '09? It mentions the V6 works, not V8.

    Thanks guys!

Everything checked out great. Fits like it belongs there and more importantly the truck starts with it hooked up

Yes its the V6 knob and 4th gens are 03-09 model years. If you search through my post history for something like "4Runner knob" or something to that end I posted in another thread about it with part numbers and further links.

FEELER: Anyone who has a pre-2012 Tacoma (or 2012+ if you don't mind amber) with the amber colored dash interested in a lit 4Runner ignition ring?? Bought it for $108 (not including shipping). Would entertain offers :) I'll throw in some wiring pins for free, 2 + a couple extra just in case you goof up the first 2.

Only thing is the "lock/ACC/On/Start" text doesn't line up like it should since the 4Runner ignition markings are oriented different.

I'll put it up in the BST section in a couple weeks when I am ready to buy a Tundra version so long as it works out for Up2NoGood, just figured I'd give priority to anyone following the thread.

Now that a white ring is sourced Im interested in doing this mod! Do I still need terminal ends to complete this install? OP, if you have some extras, I'd be happy to pay for a few.

@adio the price I was given if ordering 5 of them is $100 even. From there I would have to ship to others though so I would count on delivered cost from me to be $115 tracked. Could also supply two wire lengths with the proper terminals on them for an extra $5 or so.

After looking at the numbers I'm not sure that would really save anyone much money... Probably works out similar to just order the parts individually.

So 115$ shipped anywhere even Hawaii(96706), plus 5$ for the 2 wire and terminals?

If that's the case count me in please. Thank you for crunching the numbers down.

If anyone else is interested jump in on it and let's get the price down.

I'll double check, but on the kits I've sold it seems to be a flat rate of $15 from Canada to anywhere in the US. To be fair I haven't had to send any heated mirrors to Hawaii though lol.

I'll take a look right now though and confirm.
